Yasir Awan is a well-educated young professional and an entrepreneur, who belongs to a town “Danda Shah Bilawal” in district Chakwal tehsil Lawa / Talagang. He is currently 43 years old and a successful businessman settled in Canada. He moved to Canada when he was under 25 only, after continuous struggle and dedication he becomes the owner of 4 running businesses based in London city of Ontario (Canada).
Yasir belongs to a political family, his father Malik Sher Khan is a close friend of Malik Saleem Iqbal one of senior PML N politician & Ex-Minister in Punjab, also his uncle Malik Allah Yaar Khan have strong relationships with Choudhary family of Gujrat, i.e.: Ch. Pervaiz Elahi the former Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief Minister Punjab. With such background, he was interested in politics from his school days with an aim to help people which later turns him up to conduct welfare/ fundraising events in Canada with the support of overseas Pakistanis.

He was very much inspired from Imran Khan so he joined Khan Sb team in Canada during 2011-2012 to work for different causes including SKMH and Naml college “iSupportCause”. In a short span of time, he becomes PTI’s coordinator in London/ Canada due to his dedication towards Khan Sb’s vision.
General Elections 2013
In General Election 2013, he came back to Pakistan and worked hard for PTI in his region Chakwal-II (Talagang, Lawa) when PTI was not much popular in this area. He started door to door campaigns to deliver the message of Imran Khan for the people of Pakistan for Change. People admired his efforts and endorsed him to set up first PTI secretariat in Talagang.
Strengths and Solid Participation
Yasir has a pleasant personality with a smiling face for everyone, one of core strength is his brothers who support him in each step towards the favor of their homeland people. His brother Malik Basir Awan is Ex-Vice President PTI in Talagang and Malik Tahir Awan who is settled in England is also a die heart supporter of PTI and Imran Khan. Yasir believes in teamwork and on the welfare of common people with a direct relationship without any influence from references or Sardars/ Landlords of their respective areas.
He is a loyal worker of PTI like for 23rd March 2013 Jalsa in Lahore he arranged and led a rally of more than 1500 people from Talagang/ Lawa to Lahore. On Yasir’s invitation, Khan Sb has visited his hometown “Danda Shah Bilawal” once before General Election campaign 2013.

After 2013 election he left back to Canada because he holds Canadian nationality and needs some time to sort out business and dependencies abroad. In 2014 he came back again to support PTI during Azaadi Dharnaa, build up a camp in D-Chowk and worked day and night with workers on the ground by providing them with transportation, food etc.
He came back to Pakistan on 8th August 2018 for active participation in “Naya Pakistan”, he will develop a team “Yasir Awan Tabdeeli Team” in NA-65 Chakwal-II which will work at grass root level in Talagang and Lawa. Agenda is mentioned below in an image extracted from his official Facebook page:
